Submitting the application confirms the permit's continued validity beyond its expiry date, provided it was not already expired on the application day.
Germany has updated its online application process for extending humanitarian residence permits. The system now supports document uploads in PDF, JPG, JPEG, and PNG formats. Applicants can upload files with a total size limit of 100 MB, with individual files not exceeding 7 MB.
