Ukraine has updated its list of potential penalties for individuals overstaying their permitted duration of stay. Previously, overstaying could lead to denial of residence permits, forced return, forced expulsion, an entry ban, administrative penalties, and property liability.

The updated regulations now state that overstaying can result in denial of residence permits, forced return, forced expulsion, or a ban on re-entry to Ukraine.
