New information indicates a change in application pathways for the Western Australia Designated Area Migration Agreement (WA DAMA). Previously unknown, the process for employers seeking to sponsor skilled migrants in occupations not covered by regional DAMAs has been clarified.

Under the updated guidelines, employers in Western Australia can now apply directly to Migration Services for endorsement under the state-wide WA DAMA. This pathway is available for occupations not accessible through existing local regional DAMAs. The WA DAMA is designed to complement these regional agreements and provides concessions to endorsed businesses sponsoring skilled migrants.
